The format
They said yes in March to a Friday in June, and both of you knew how it would end. The relief when it fell through was the best part of that week.
The line for that is “I was hoping you’d cancel too”. It is printed large across the back of an oversized sweatshirt, so it faces away from the room.
It is a joke they have already made about themselves, which is the only kind we print. Nothing here calls anyone flaky or antisocial.
